Are your products shipped sterile?

Yes, all GORE Regenerative Membranes and sutures are shipped sterile. The contents are sterile unless the pouch has been opened or damaged.

Can I re-sterilize your product?

No, GORE Regenerative Membranes are intended for one-time use only.

Have you ever had a confirmed allergic reaction to ePTFE?

We have never had a confirmed allergic response to ePTFE. PTFE is one of the most inert substances known and is biocompatible.

Do GORE Regenerative Membrane products contain latex?

No.

Do GORE Regenerative Membrane products contain animal material?

No.

What are your products made of?

GORE RESOLUT® ADAPT® and GORE RESOLUT® ADAPT® LT Regenerative Membranes are constructed from the copolymer PGA:TMC (polyglycolic acid: trimethylene carbonate).

GORE-TEX® Regenerative Membranes are made from expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE).

GORE-TEX® Regenerative Membranes Titanium Reinforced have incorporated titanium struts laminated between two sheets of ePTFE.

GORE RESOLUT® XT Regenerative Membranes consist of a three-layer structure of two random fiber matrices on either side of a cell occlusive film. The membranes are composed of synthetic polymers: polyglycolic acid, polylactic acid, and trimethylene carbonate.

What is the shelf life of GORE Regenerative Membranes?

Five years from the date of manufacture for GORE-TEX® Regenerative Membranes and GORE-TEX® Regenerative Membranes Titanium Reinforced. The "Use By" date is printed on the front of each box and product pouch.

Three years from the date of manufacture for GORE RESOLUT® XT,GORE RESOLUT® ADAPT® and GORE RESOLUT® ADAPT® LT Regenerative Membranes. The "Use By" date is printed on the front of each box and product pouch.
