In certain hernia and soft tissue reconstructions, and in temporary bridging of fascial defects, it is sometimes necessary to encourage host tissue ingrowth along one surface, while minimizing tissue attachment along another surface.
GORE DUALMESH® Biomaterial is a soft, conformable, ePTFE material that offers a unique, two-surface design intended for such applications. The biomaterial features two functionally distinct surfaces: a closed structure surface for reduced tissue attachment and a macroporous structure surface for faster tissue attachment.
