The GORE-TEX® Soft Tissue Patch is a specialty biomaterial designed to meet the needs of the most demanding soft tissue repairs with minimal complications.

Many surgeons depend on the GORE-TEX® Soft Tissue Patch for clinical advantages that include:

Smart Design: Made from a sheet material that offers greater suture retention strength while allowing for host tissue incorporation Inert Material: Special biomaterial features solid nodes and thin fibrils of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) to minimize foreign body response and to remain soft and compliant in in vivo conditions Easy Handling: Pre-configured patches require little or no trimming before implantation but they can easily be cut and shaped to size without fraying

The GORE-TEX® Soft Tissue Patch has long been a prosthetic patch of choice for soft tissue repairs. The GORE-TEX® Soft Tissue Patch is a non-absorbable patch constructed entirely of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) material. The patch possesses a node and fibril structure with a 17–22 μm average pore size throughout the device and on both surfaces. The GORE-TEX® Soft Tissue Patch is designed for placement between tissue layers where ingrowth is desired.
