Can I bathe my child in a bathtub?


No. Immersing the cast will soak the padding, which can lead to serious skin problems. If the cast is made with plaster casting tape, immersion in water will destroy the cast.

How do I clean my child when changing diapers?


Use a damp towel or other doctor-approved wipe to gently remove urine and excrement that may have leaked in and around the legs or upper body. Excess moisture will quickly dry.

How Does the PANTALOON Protective Liner work?


The PANTALOON Protective Liner is fabricated from GORE-TEX® expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) which allows perspiration to escape through billions of tiny pores. These pores are much smaller than a droplet of liquid water, but much larger then a molecule of water vapor. Therefore, urine and excrement cannot pass through the Liner to soil the cast padding. Your child’s body temperature will turn perspiration into water vapor that quickly escapes through the Liner, leaving the skin dry.
