GORE SEAMGUARD® Bioabsorbable Staple Line Reinforcement is specifically engineered to reduce the incidence of perioperative leaks and bleeding in a variety of open and minimally invasive surgeries.1 Then, after six months, it is completely absorbed eliminating the risk of a prolonged inflammatory response.
Our synthetic and bioabsorbable product is engineered for consistent thinness to allow proper staple formation. In comparison, bovine pericardium is more than twice as thick with greater variability.2
