Gore Medical Products Division is here for you
Gore Medical Products Division is honored to support the physicians and health care providers on the front lines of this global health crisis. There are no words to express our gratitude for your commitment to the lives and wellbeing of others during this unprecedented challenge.
We appreciate you. And we are here for you.
In this time of global crisis, rest assured that Gore Medical Products Division has taken proactive steps to protect access to the life-saving medical devices and clinical support you trust us to provide while minimizing the risks of infection at our production sites and at care delivery locations.
We’re working within local guidance to minimize exposure while ensuring access to the products and support you need for your patients.
Gore Medical Products Division serves 62 countries around the world. We are following both regional and local-level COVID-19 protocols in each geography we serve, and we are adhering to the guidance offered by the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and by individual care facilities.
Our Associates often provide clinical case support alongside physicians while they perform life-saving patient procedures. Your local Gore Associate is the best point person for understanding how this technical case support may be affected by your own community’s evolving COVID-19 protocols.
We’re committed to keeping our supply chains stable.
We are collaborating to minimize the impact on Gore’s ability to manufacture and ship devices. To date, we are not experiencing any delay on our ability to supply products to customers, unless there is a specific restriction put in place by local regulators. In such cases, your local Gore representative will have the most up-to-date information on alternative delivery options. We will make every effort possible within local safety protocols to ensure our physicians have the devices they need, including in emergent cases.
We also recognize that your supply chain team must adjust and be flexible to meet the immediate needs of the patients you serve. Gore is committed to supporting you through this uncertain time and will work with you on contract terms to support you in meeting your patient care priorities.
We are supporting our Associates as they continue to support our clients.
We have implemented work-from-home protocols for those Associates whose responsibilities do not require them to be on site. We are supporting them as they balance childcare and elder care, new working situations, and the stress of the evolving pandemic repercussions.
We have also implemented new protocols within our facilities to minimize contact and reduce the risk of virus exposure or transmission, per World Health Organization and other global guidance resources.
We are acutely aware of the need to protect our Associates, so we can protect you and your patients, and we are committed to doing what is right for them and the customers and communities that rely on our products.
Gore follows strict sterilization protocols for the manufacture of its medical products, and regularly validates the effectiveness of these sterilization efforts. Product sterilization is the final step after completion of device assembly and packaging, and provides assurance that sterility is maintained until the devices are needed in the hospital. During the COVID-19 outbreak, we have implemented additional precautionary production protocols as another layer of protection for both your patients and our Associates.
We’re here for you.
We know you may have questions, and we’re here to help. Please reach out to your local Gore Associate for any immediate questions.
