Grafts must not only be strong, inert and biocompatible, but also available in varying sizes and configurations for improved vascular access.

GORE-TEX® STRETCH Vascular Graft has long been the prosthetic of choice among vascular surgeons in Europe. Conformable and easy to handle, it is offered in both large and small diameters, as well as thin-wall and rapidly-tapering designs (4-7 mm or 4-6 mm) for cases where arterial steal syndrome is a potential complication. A 6 mm graft featuring external supporting rings in 5 cm centered sections enables tight loop configurations and crossing the cubitus.

GORE-TEX® STRETCH Vascular Graft is available in various configurations appropriate for angioaccess, and has demonstrated improved patency in the end-stage renal disease compared to non-stretch vascular grafts.1
