Program Overview

This program offers participants the opportunity to perform the most challenging part of the TIPS procedure — the portal puncture — in an ex-vivo porcine model. The program consists of an evening of clinical discussion followed by a full day of hands-on time in the lab. Every participant will be able to perform a TIPS from start to finish and take a deep dive into clinical management of portal hypertension patients along expert faculty. Attendance is limited.
